Motivated by an early desire to design, David’s professional design career started with an internship at the University of North Dakota’s television center where he created digital billboards for off-air time and built websites. Driven to learn even more about his chosen field, he tackled a job at the university’s housing office as a Graphic Artist. After his busy college years, David went to work as a Production Manager/Graphic & Web Designer with Anchor Marketing. His strong design skills and ability to translate someone’s vision into a digital reality landed him at Webaloo, LLC as a front-end developer and web designer. His time at Webaloo LLC taught him about the importance of content management systems and their major role in the ongoing evolution of the web.
In 2009, David realized a longtime dream and started Afixia, LLC, with a longtime friend/colleague. Today, he continues web development work (including totally rockin’ responsive web design!) from the Mercury office to ensure a highly personal level of service to their clients. Added bonus: he now views all challenges through the eyes of a business owner which results in cost-effective, beautifully designed solutions for our clients.
